I recently went out to lunch with a group of friends at JJ Twigs restaurant in West County. It is a relatively small building that includes a bar and a separate area meant just for dining.
Food: We ordered a few plates of hot wings as appetizers which were more than satisfactory. Their regular wings were very good, but we also ordered their cheddar bacon wings. These are their regular hot wings with cheese melted over them and topped with bacon. Since they are known for their pizza we decided to order a couple different kinds. They have a thick crust but we stuck with the St. Louis style that they offer. It was loaded with toppings, and was very filling.
Price: JJ Twigs isn’t exactly cheap the prices are a little more than what you would expect for a thin crust pizza. The cheddar bacon wings were $8.49, which I usually wouldn’t pay for wings but they were very good.
Service: We had a young waitress that was very attentive and was constantly at our table to make sure everything was okay. There was eight of us there, and we weren’t exactly the easiest people to wait on. She cooperated with us very well, and couldn’t have done a better job.
I would give JJ twigs 4 out of 5 stars due to the fact that the prices weren’t the best you can find though the food and service was very good. I would recommend JJ Twigs as a great place to go to find good pizza, and a nice environment.
