Kaylee started playing softball at a very young age, beginning her journey when she was just three years old. Last year, as a freshman, she had the remarkable achievement of making the varsity team. One of her favorite aspects of being on the varsity team was the opportunity to learn from the older girls, who she admired for their experience and knowledge. Kaylee also enjoyed the pride that came with being able to say she made varsity as a freshman, acknowledging that it sounds quite impressive. Although she initially thought it would be challenging to compete with older players, she found that once she started playing, it wasn’t as difficult as she anticipated. Kaylee looks up to the seniors on the team, valuing their wisdom and guidance. She also supports her teammates by sharing her own experiences to help them feel better when they make mistakes. Her teammates appreciate her positive energy and attitude, with Ella Young noting the effort she brings to the team and senior Rylie Harper highlighting her good attitude and energy.
