Students are encouraged to participate in a special event supporting veterans, military, and other groups that serve our country.
This event will be held at Fox High School on Aug. 29 at 7 p.m. coinciding with the first football game. The purpose is to support Huddle for Heroes. This includes football players coming together, huddling, in a way to support those currently serving our country.
Cheerleaders will be going around the stand during halftime collecting donations. These donations are used to fund the needs for any military branch, and veterans.
Green Pit also wants to build school spirit by encouraging fans to wear theme colors: USA and camouflage. Wear red, white, blue, or camouflage.
To kick off the event, the leadership class will be holding a pep rally on Friday, Aug. 29 during school.
