Students will participate in the pep rally on Friday, Aug. 29 in Gym A from about 9:20 to 10:05 a.m.
Students will be dismissed from their prep by intercom and must sit with their graduating class.
This pep rally is being held to promote Huddle For Heroes, an event the football team coordinates with Fox High School. This annual event supports the military.
Money raised from the event will be used to support people who serve or have served across the country.
Leadership is hosting two games, Junk in the Trunk, and the Human Claw game.
These games are to get students involved in the pep rally, and especially to get students hype for the Huddles For Heroes football game at 7 P.M.
Leadership manager Minela Kafedzic shared her thoughts on why this pep rally is important.
“This pep rally is important because it not only supports, but informs students on why this game is important, our veterans are important and this is Mehlville’s way to show appreciation,”.
Students are encouraged to wear camo or USA themed colors to support, and show off their school spirit.
