Brody Mount is a Junior at Mehlville High School who has played baseball for Mehlville throughout his high school career and his personal life since he was little.

Mount found his passion in baseball when he was near kindergarten and followed his passion all the way to high school.

“I first got into baseball near kindergarten because of friends, we wanted to get together and play, and I stuck with it because it’s something I enjoy and got better at,”

Mount has his challenges balancing high school baseball and out of school baseball but over comes them with confidence.

“I plan ahead of time making sure that some things that are more prioritized are happening first, I kind of go by the season and what’s more important at the time”

It’s also important to realize next year will be Mount’s last year playing for Mehlville. On a personal level he’s excited for senior year and high school to come to an end but also accepted baseball might lead him far or be of the past.

“I don’t really think about baseball in my future I’ve always just though about getting better and seeing what happens and if I decide to go down another path what happens will happen, I plan on playing senior year and I don’t see it any different than my other years I just want it to be a better season than the last,”

As Mount continues to play baseball, he hopes that whichever path he goes down his sport will always be cherished and remembered. You can also catch Mount on the court playing basketball with friends.
