As Ben Clark nears the end of his sophomore season, fans can look back at his outstanding freshman year.
In his inaugural year, Clark scored four goals and assisted five. He played in many games with a few seniors ahead. Last year it was a successful season for Clark, though the team fell short in the district final match to Lindbergh.
Sophomore year has been a slow start for Clark and the team as they are 6-16-1 with one regular season match remaining. This season Clark has notched four goals and two assists so far in a great effort to help the struggling team compared to last year.
Clark remains positive and hopes the team makes a good post-season run.
Teammate sophomore Armel Omerovic says he and Clark form “a dynamic duo¨ with Clark assisting him on multiple occasions and vice versa.
The team plays Fox Tuesday, Oct. 28 at Fox at 5:15 p.m. to close out the regular season. Districts begin next week and the team Union on Monday, Nov. 3.
