Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse Review

Spider-Verse is the first animated Spiderman movie.
Spiderman: into the Spider-Verse was one of the most anticipated and well-received movies to come out in 2018. Along with movies such as Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War, Spiderman has made 2018 a great year for fans of superhero movies.
Spider-Verse takes what most Spiderman movie fans know about the hero, and flips it on its head. Taking core concepts from the characters to the villains, Spider-Verse puts its own twist on the story of Peter Parker’s adventures as Spiderman.
Spiderman: into the Spider-Verse introduced many new concepts, such as the idea of multiple spiderman characters from other dimensions, including the original Peter Parker. While this idea can seem confusing, they do a good job of separating each character with their own suits and backstories.
I believe that the addition of other spiderman characters into the movie added to the story, instead of taking away from it. Introducing characters like Spider-Ham and Spider-Girl add humor to the story, and also feature references to other tv shows and movies.
Spiderman: into the Spider-Verse was an enjoyable movie to watch. It featured every aspect of a traditional Spiderman movie, and incorporated new elements to make the movie fun and interesting to watch. If I were to rate the movie, I would give it an 8 out of 10 stars, and I would recommend anyone interested should go and watch it.
