Boys Varsity Basketball Recognizes Staff

Every year Mehlville Basketball hosts a staff appreciation game to honor the staff here at Mehlville. This year it is being held on Friday, Feb. 2.

This specific game allows students to thank their favorite teacher, custodian, cafeteria worker, secretary or counselor for all their hard work. The teachers chosen get the honor of showing up to the player’s game, being recognized and sitting in a special section.

Marcus Jacobs, a junior point guard for boys varsity basketball chose Family and Consumer Science Teacher Paige Bergner.

“She is a good teacher who always makes my days easier, and I really enjoy her class,” Marcus said.

Game time is 7 p.m. Tickets cost $5 for adults and $3 for students.
