This heart warming holiday classic displays the true meaning of the holidays.  An angel helps George Bailey come to terms with his life and enjoy it instead of dwelling on the bad things.  The angel shows Bailey how different everyone would be without his influence.

2.) Elf (2003)Top 10 Christmas Movies

Will Ferrell, Zooey Deschanel and James Caan star in this hilarious comedy that will have you laughing for hours.  The movie follows the journey of Buddy, a man who was raised by elves in the North Pole.  He sets out to find his biological father in New York and discovers it is a much different place than the North Pole.

3.) How The Grinch Stole Christmas (2000)

This move brings Dr. Seuss’s story, “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” to life.  Jim Carrey stars as the Grinch who lives outside the village of Whoville.  The entire town fears the Grinch except one little girl, Cindy Lou Who.  Cindy tries to show the Grinch the Christmas spirit.

4.) A Christmas Story (1983)

This holiday comedy focuses Ralphie Parker’s Christmas adventure.  All Ralphie wants is a Red Ryder BB gun. Check it out on TBS on December 24th from 8 P.M. to 12 A.M. and December 25th from 12 A.M.. to 6 P.M.

5.) The Santa Clause (1994)

In this movie, Scott Calvin (Tim Allen) learns there is more to life than his job. He becomes Santa Claus and struggles to come to the realization that his reality is what he always thought was a fantasy.

6.) Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (1964)

This animated classic tells the story of Santa’s ninth reindeer, Rudolph. It is the perfect movie for a family night.

7.) Frosty the Snowman (1969)

Frosty the Snowman tells the story of a snowman who came to life after some children placed a magical hat on his head.  This cartoon can be enjoyed by all age groups.

8.)Charlie Brown Christmas (1965)

This movie stars everyone’s favorite cartoon characters: Charlie Brown and the rest of the Peanut Gang.  ABC will play this Christmas favorite December 19 at 8:00 P.M.

9.) National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation (1989)

This comedy focuses on the journey of the Griswold family Christmas and all the chaos that entails. It will play on ABC Family December 20 at 9:00 P.M.

10.) Fred Claus (2007)

This comedy tells the untold story of Santa Claus’s brother, Fred Claus (Vince Vaughn).  Fred Claus will play on TNT December 21.
