Greetings from the lunchroom panthers, Roy Clemens is the kitchen manager and basketball and football announcer at Mehlville High School.
Clemens has been a kitchen manager at Mehlville for 12 years but was a teacher for 15 years, as well as a restaurant owner for 15 years.
For Clemens, he has had a history of teaching at other schools.
Clemens was a Lindbergh teacher before becoming the kitchen manager at Mehlville, which he loves.
“I get to work with great people, I enjoy conversating with the students, and I get to eat whatever I want.”
For Clemens, Mehlville is a long-term option.
“As long as I can… I’m going to keep doing it until I can’t do it.”
Clemens also announces basketball and football games at Mehlville. Clemens has been announcing basketball for two years but football for eight or nine years
He loves to announce games for Mehlville with his explosive and fun personality, having played basketball and football, as well as soccer in the past.
