Gaines delivers news of high school return to Connected Model in latest district video.

Superintendent Dr. Chris Gaines announced Nov. 12 that high school students will transition to the Connected Model of learning on Nov. 16. He released a video statement to district families to state the change.

Gaines said the change would likely be effective until Winter Break and praised the community for their support.

“I want to thank you for your continued flexibility, grace and support as we’ve worked to respond to changing levels of COVID-19 transmission in our community,” said Gaines.

High school students and families will receive more information in the coming days regarding the transition. Middle school and elementary students will remain in the Blended Model.
