Taking a Closer Look at Choir

“It’s an extremely welcoming environment whether singing is your talent or not.” Senior Amy Escamilla said when asked why she joined choir. 

Escamilla has been singing for eight years now.

“The environment and being around people who like and enjoy the same things,” is her one favorite things about choir.

“I really like the teacher, Ms. Quilling because she is super nice and young so she gets us,” Escamilla said. “She’s taught us that you can always grow as a musician.” 

In the future, Escamilla says she would like to minor in college for choir thanks to her influence from Mehlville High School’s choir club.
